I have worked in my studio, The Artillery Store, since the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust opened Headland Park in 2005. I am drawing, painting and playing music, piano and accordion.

The site was a military base to defend the Harbour - there was also a hospital. Old military barracks have been transformed and the land re-opened to the public. It is now a National Park on Georges Heights with the most beautiful views looking across to the entrance of Sydney Harbour. A community of artists are making art on the Headland.

The place is full of history, and I believe that the spirits of the traditional owners, the military and more... are protecting and inspiring us ... to inspire others.

The studio is open to the public ... COME AND VISIT!

Since 2017, I have installed another studio in a remote and isolated area, on the hills of the Wollombi Valley. The property is 70 acres of forest of ancient trees, sandstone caves, beautiful rocks formation and wildlife. The spirit of the land and the aboriginal people who once lived there are guiding my work.

Listening to the murmurs of Nurrewin...

"All my paintings start out of a mood, out of a relationship with images or people. Reality has to be digested, it has to be transmuted by paint, it has to be given a twist of some kind. To me Art is an adventure into an unknown world, which can be explored only by those willing to take risks. Trial and error methodology is improvisational, based on intuitive approach and the necessity to develop the work in the process of painting. "
